BBA Career Management helps you hone your interview and job searching skills so you can land the internship and full-time positions you want most.
Many of our resources are designed to help you engage with employers early in your college career. Start making connections from your first day on campus.
Let BBA Career Management give you a firsthand glimpse of the companies and environments many people in the business world call home.
McCombs focuses on helping you achieve your career goals right from the start. While many institutions wait to put you in contact with their career management departments, one of your first McCombs classes will be taught by a career coaching professional.
During this course, you’ll learn employer trends, examine what skills are in demand, and become familiar with each of our majors. You’ll also develop your résumé, learn to write a cover letter, and—best of all—receive a mock interview in preparation for recruiting.
All BBA students complete an internship before they graduate. Not only are internships a great way to gain valuable work experience and test the waters in an industry of your choosing, they can be an excellent opportunity to meet new people and expand your network.
Our major-specific career coaches meet one-on-one with students to discuss options and polish job search and interview strategies. Career coaches specific to your major are a key factor in helping McCombs students successfully land internships and full-time jobs.
As a McCombs undergrad, you can also take advantage of our Peer Coaching program, where you can talk about internships, career paths, and recruiting with a student who’s already been through the process.
BBA Career Management provides programs to help you become the leaders of tomorrow. The BBA Women’s Council, McCombs Diversity Council, and Target Your Future are BBA Career Management’s sponsored programs with weekly seminars, company visits, and professional mentorship opportunities. Take advantage of these programs and take what you learned in the Career Course to the next level.
